When crafting Bundaberg Select Vat, BDCs master craftsmen search their 2 year old rum reserves and hand select those that exhibit extra special qualities. These premium rums are then aged for a total of 6 years in oak vats until they reach their peak. This extra time ageing adds richness and balance to the classic Bundaberg character.
